The Religious Liberty Department Coordinator for
the Central California Conference, Elder Dan Escamilla works closely
with the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty officer of the Pacific
Union Conference.
When church members find themselves in a situation
where a conflict arises regarding working on the Sabbath please call
us. This department will work closely with your pastor and if the
situation requires, our Union representative will be called upon to
assist in these matters.

Did you know that an average of three Adventist are fired
every day of the year in America for no crime other than keeping the
Sabbath.. It is time for us to speak up for religious freedom. Our
leaders of our church in different levels of our organization are
endeavoring to let the members know and get their support to pass bill
Workplace Religious Freedom Act S-893. We only have to the end of this
month to place our support and that Congress would pass this bill. We are
having opposition of this bill so please take the time to go to the
